Michael Anthonyis a 16-year-old high school junior from Ashland,
Massachusetts. Other than being a company member in the David Mindess School production of “School House Rock Live!”
at age 9, Michael has remained a stranger to the stage until his best friend and director of “A-Z Musical Revue: Pop
Icons”, Laura convinced him to try out for Ashland High School’s audition-only Chamber Chorus, which she was already
apart of for the 2004-2005 school year. When Mike was accepted, his eyes were opened to rehearsing, performing, and competing
with a high-quality group. Through this group, Mike was chosen to participate in the coveted ACDA Honors Choir at UMASS Amherst
with the top high school singers in Massachusetts. After his debut as a soloist at Ashland High School’s “Solo
and Small Ensemble Night” in May when he performed “All I Ask of You” from Phantom of the Opera, Michael
is excited to broaden his musical and performance experience this summer as apart of LWP’s summer season. Michael
will be starting his senior year at Ashland High School in the fall.
