Catherine “Katie”
McTyre is an 18-year-old college freshman who recently moved from Sudbury to Marlboro, Massachusetts. In a self-described
“desperate need” for summer theatre, Katie reunited with Kate Olson (director of Broadway A-Z: A Musical Revue)
and Laura Olson (director of A-Z Musical Revue: Pop Icons) after they took a 2-year hiatus from running a production company,
and is a featured soloist in both productions. Katie’s resume includes “Jesus Christ Superstar” (2001, Triple
Threat Productions), “PIPPIN” (2002, Triple Threat Productions), and “Footloose” (2002, Concord Youth
Theatre) as some of her most memorable performances. Katie studies music education at the University of Connecticut,
and will begin her sophomore year in the fall.
